GO ME!!!!
So I am busting my ass to get into shape, and I've been working out faithfully for three weeks. Yesterday I did Turbo Jam sculpting video (you need to try it, it's awesome!) with my friend Rebekah for 45 minutes, then rode my bike for two miles to pick up Rooster from school (the temp was 102) , and then went hiking to an oasis up two mountains for three miles. Anyways, I'm going to be posting before and after photos soon. I'm really excited about getting into shape. Wish me luck!!!!

"Quoting" from Katie, again.
Last night we had birthday cake and ice cream for Donny's birthday, and of course Katie ate every drop (she's a junk food junkie), then she brought me her bowl and said "look mom I ate my supper really good, can I have a popsicle now?" It was so funny! I guess since she ate her dessert she thought she need to be treated with a second one. That girl says the funniest things!

First Day of School
I can't believe that my big boy is going to all day school this year. He was so excited to start school this year, and meet his new teacher and friends. The first day I picked him up he said school was way too long and he missed me so much. It was so sweet! I love my big boy!
As soon as we dropped him off I took Katie to her new hourly daycare program so she could feel like she was going to school, too. I am homeschooling her again this year, because all preschools here are booked up (she's on two waiting list). She loves going to the library on base and doing school with me. I am such a lucky mama and I miss my big boy during the day!!!

Memory of me
My friend Abby posted this on her blog, so I thought I would give it a try.
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn’t matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. If you leave a memory about me, I’ll assume you’re playing the game and I’ll come to your blog and leave one about you.

Flooding in the desert
So living here in the desert we rarely get rain, so when a flash flood comes, we have some fun. The kids loved playing in the rain, and so did the dogs. Our backyard was flooded, our neighbor said that was the worse rain they had here in 20 years. It was alot of rain, but it did cool us off for a couple of days.
Disneyland August 11th, 2008
So my hubby surprised me and the kids a trip to Disneyland for our 8th wedding anniversary. We already had the tickets to Disney "World", and we called and they accepted them at Disneyland, so he asked off work and told me we were going for our anniversary. We didn't tell the kids where we were going, because we wanted to surprise them. It's only 2 hours away from our house, but of course they asked every 2 seconds "are we there yet?" We made them lay down and close their eyes, because we left so early in the morning we didn't want them to be too tired during the day. Anyways, we pull into the Disneyland parking lot and there's not even one sign, picture or anything with Disney on it. Katie saw that the parking lot employee had Disney wrote on his shirt, and said he has Disney on his shirt so we must be at Disney, it was funny, but didn't go how we had planned. Then the first ride we go on (Mr. Toads wild ride) scares Katie to death, so she doesn't want to go on anything unless it's outside. The beginning of the day sucked, the stroller broke on us, Katie was freaking, and we were pissed. We finally sat down had some lunch and said okay....lets start over and have a better day. We did, Katie was happy, we rented strollers and we stayed until they closed. It was a great trip, and I'm so excited we live so close so we can go back again soon.
