Tears of Joy

I had to post these pictures of my Katie Sue, they are priceless! Katie is so into Hannah Montana, and we don't really know why she loves her so much, because she never even saw the show until my Mom bought it for her when she was here visiting. She already had a High School Musical dog tag that we got her, but for her birthday she asked for the Hannah Montana one, and when she opened it up, she had tears of joy. This is my favorite picture of her, and I just had to share the story. I love her so much, she is such a special little girl.

First visitors to our new house

So I've been begging my mom to come out and visit us, because the grand kids were having withdrawls from her. (We miss her so much!) I was also talking to my friend Tracie who grew up with me and goes to the same church as my mom, so they decided to come out together. My mom hates to fly, and it was Tracie's first time flying, so it worked out great. I got to go pick them up in Vegas, and my sweet hubby watched the kids for the night so I could have a "girls" trip. We did alot of fun sightseeing, and took some great pictures. It was alot of fun, but it was sooo hot.

We planned alot of fun stuff to do while they were here, we grilled out almost everyday and really enjoyed hanging out with each other.

My mom watched the kids for the weekend, so Donny could go out with us and we went back to some casinos only 2 hours from us, and had a blast. Tracie won $170 dollars, it was awesome! Then we got up the next day and drove four hours to Hollywood. It wasn't as glamorous as they make it look on TV, but it was cool to see the stars on the blvd, and see the Hollywood sign. The next day was their last full day here and me and Tracie got to scrapbook together all the cool pictures we took. I miss them so much, and can't wait to see them again!

I'm finally back!!!

So I haven't posted in about three months, so I have alot of catching up to do, and a ton of pictures to download. We are all settled in here in 29 palms, and loving it! We are smack dab in the desert, but it's sunny and beautiful everyday. The kids are loving all the new friends we are making here, and we love being surrounded by military families, again. Rooster can't wait to start first grade and Katie is so ready for preschool. I am so excited about our new life here, and look forward to the many memories we are going to make.

The pictures are just random, but I wanted to get them posted.
